OUR TEAM

Gil Elliott is the Managing Director of G & S Agencies and started the agency in 1978.  For most of these 30 years of operation, Gil operated the agency with his wife Shelley until 2004 when the team grew!

Shelley Elliott - FInancial Controller - Shelley's expertise in Secretarial and Legal puts her in good stead to control accounts receivable and payable, cashflow and human resources for G & S Agencies.

Sean Moss - Group Sales Manager -  Sean has been with G & S Agencies since October 2004.  Prior to joining us – Sean had many years experience in the electrical industry managing Chandlers stores.

Steve Elkins – State Sales Manager SA –  is based in Adelaide and has come from a senior position as Product Manager with the Radio Rentals group. Previously Steve was with Electrolux for 17 years in a variety of roles including Strategic Business Managers role and Northern Territory and South Australian State Manager.

Doug Underdown - Account Manager SA - Doug has extensive experience in the electrical industry in South Australia.  Recently with Philips as State Manager and before that in a state role with Sony.  His passion  for electrical - especially electronic products, is only matched by his desire to succeed in his role in South Australia. 

Colin Moss - Account Manager SA - Colin has extensive experiencein the Audio Visual Market with over 20 years with Pioneer Australia in roles in New South Wales, Western Australia and South Australia.  Most recently, Colin was South Australian and Northern Territory State Manager - a position he has held for over 17 years.  Colin brings sensational  product skills and a brilliant reputation for customer care to our team.

Nick O’Connor – Account Manager North QLD – Nick comes from 11 years of retail experience, most recently with a large electrical retail group as 3IC and has Managed both AV and IT departments.

Jamahl Sands – Account Manager Brisbane - has joined with the G & S Agencies team in August 2010.  Jamahl comes to us from a retail management background of 8 years.

Chris McKee – Director of Sales NZ - Chris started with the business in 2006 and comes from 18 years in senior corporate roles in the electrical industry, including NZ Manager for Whirlpool NZ , Commercial Manager based in Australia for Whirlpool Australia then back to NZ as the General Manager for Electrolux Floorcare and Outdoor Division.

Kathryn McKee – Sales Co-Ordinator New Zealand - Joined us in 2009 to assist in the rapid growth of our business. Coming from a long career in Sales and Marketing in the electrical industry, Kathryn has supported large sales teams with reporting, product development, advertising & marketing of brands such as Goldair, Toshiba and Mistral.

Derek Warren– Account Manager, New Zealand Derek is based in Wellington from a management role in the car industry and looks after our business Partners from Wellington up to Taupo in the North Island.

Paul Holland – Account Manager, New Zealand.  Based in Hamilton – Paul will be looking after Central Nth Island and brings many years experience from his own business background and in the commercial field.

Liz Stutley – Account Manager, South Australia - has been with G & S Agencies since the beginning of 2007 – Liz had previously been selling Delonghi and Kenwood product throughout South Australia for the past 10 years.

Lyn Jorrell – Account Manager, South Australia -  has been with G & S Agencies since the beginning of 2007 – Lyn had previously been selling Delonghi and Kenwood product throughout South Australia for the past 10 years.

Damien Keeping – VIC – Damien looks after Sharp in country Victoria and looks after Atdec for G & S Agencies.  Damien has been an agent for over 4 years and prior to that was with Grace Bros in management.

Simone Comito – Marketing and Sales - has been with G & S Agencies since January 2005  – previously Simone had been with Sharp Corporation for 5 years working in various roles including Sales Co-ordinator and Account Manager in NSW and QLD.

Michelle Sinica – Administration Assistant – comes to G & S Agencies after spending the last several years in various admininstrative positions including Sharp Corporation and Pilkington Glass.

Craig Soper - Special Projects Manager - Craig has come from State Management Roles in both wholesale and retail. 

Michael Xu - Product Sourcing and Refrigeration Engineer (China) - Joined us in 2007 to assist in the development of the Acqua brand of refrigeration.  Michael is based in China and has more than 24 years experience as a refrigeration engineer including being the Director R&D for one of the largest whitewear manufacturers.  Michael is an integral part of our business, his strong relationships with all of the major factories and his technical expertise is essential in us bringing quality ptoducts to the New Zealand and Australian market.
